Building Governed AI For The Enterprise
Philip Alexander is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of AnswerMyQ, the governed AI knowledge platform company headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona. He leads the company's vision, strategic direction, and category-defining work in governed enterprise AI, where every answer is role-aware, compliant, and tied to a defined outcome.
Philip brings more than 25 years of CEO and senior executive leadership experience across enterprise software, marketing technology, and product management training, including extensive work building high-growth companies in partnership with private equity investors. Before founding AnswerMyQ in 2025, he served as Chief Executive Officer of Pragmatic Institute, the global product management training organization whose methodologies have been adopted by more than 200,000 product managers and marketers at 8,000 companies in 26 countries, including Adobe, Cisco, IBM, and Microsoft. Philip previously founded BrandMuscle in 2000 and led it as CEO for 18 years, scaling the company to more than 700 employees and making it the global leader in distributed local marketing for nearly 350 national and global brands. BrandMuscle was acquired by Ansira in 2024. His work at BrandMuscle and AnswerMyQ has focused on enterprise platforms operating across complex ecosystems involving brands, partners, field teams, regulated workflows, and distributed decision-making. He holds an MBA from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University and a BA with Honours in Economics and Statistics from the University of Delhi.
Philip founded AnswerMyQ on a simple premise: AI is becoming the front door to every business, and most of those interactions are uncontrolled. He believes the next generation of enterprise AI will be defined not by how much information it can deliver, but by how reliably it can drive measurable outcomes inside the rules every regulated business operates under.
Philip is based in Phoenix.
AI is becoming the front door to every business, and most of those interactions are uncontrolled. The next generation of enterprise AI will be defined not by what it can answer, but by what it can responsibly do.
